At 0755 this morning, our network monitoring indicated loss of signal on our OTN ring between Des Moines, Iowa and Ames, Iowa. Our dark fiber vender is investigating.
Fiber vender is hands off, and service has been restored.
Fiber vender is still splicing, ETR 8:15PM.
New fiber cable is being pulled, many aerial repairs are done. No ETR.
Repair crews have arrived with work commencing. No ETR is available.
Repair crew has been dispatched to arrive on scene approximately 12:30.
Fiber vendor has visual verification of aerial fiber down. No ETR yet.
