Our monitoring has detected a fiber outage between Ames and Des Moines. The fiber vendor is aware and investigating. This is a different segment from the damage / repair in the last 24 hours.
Technicians are hands off, all services normal, marking incident fixed.
Services have been restored. Not marking as fixed as Technicians are not hands off at this time.
Damage has been located near Cambridge, IA. Excavation has begun. No ETR.
