We have loss of signal on our OTN nodes between Cedar Falls, IA and Hiawatha, IA. A ticket with our 3rd party fiber vendor has been opened. There is no ETR at this time
Splicers are hands-off and it appears all services are restored.
Per our 3rd party fiber vendor- "Splicers are on site, slack has been pulled and the ends of the fiber are being prepped. ETTR provided by the field is 6:30PM CT"
Per our 3rd party fiber vendor- "OSP has located a fiber cut outside Waterloo. Splice teams are en route. There is no ETA or ETTR at this time"
Our 3rd party fiber vendor has indicated that they have a known issue in the area and have crews on the way. No ETR
