Intermittent Routing Issues Friday 17th June 2022 10:08:00


Network Engineers are currently investigating routing issues impacting customers throughout Cedar Falls. We will update this as soon as we have more information.

This issue has been resolved.

Over the weekend we found another issue that may or may not be related to the outage that occurred on Friday. We were able to put a temporary fix in Saturday night that appeared to resolve a number of issues people reported with internet access, and identified some networking gear that may have lingering issues that will need to be reset.

We believe we have narrowed the cause down to a fault in our dynamic address allocation. We believe this is solved, but are going to continue to monitor to ensure there are no further outages. If you are still experiencing issues, please try to restart your local router, and if that does not resolve the issue contact the helpdesk.
