At approximately 3:47pm today fiber was cut in the area of Symons and West Mt. Vernon Rd. OSP staff are onsite evaluating the extent of the damage and estimating time to repair. Customers in that area will have services down.
OSP Team has finished splicing. All services have been restored. Outage duration- 3:47pm to 8:21pm.
OSP staff are splicing in the new fiber.
OSP Staff has a plan of actions to repair. New conduit, fiber, and vaults are being transported to location. Estimated time to repair: 4-6hrs.
