Internet Service Outage for Wavenet Customers Tuesday 22nd August 2023 13:25:16
While clearing brush a CFU fiber optics pedestal was struck and has disrupted connectivity to our North West and North Central Wavenet towers resulting in outages for customers connected via those two towers.
Splicing has been completed and service has been restored to both towers along with many ONTs that were part of the fiber cut.
OSP Staff continue to re-splice. Updated ETR 2-3hrs.
We have also identified some FiberNet customers who also appear to be impacted by this outage.
