IPTV - Investigating Monday 24th June 2024 09:37:00

CFU is investigating reported IPTV issues. More information will be provided as soon as possible.

We have finished all work to get TV services back into a redundant state. Our vendor has confirmed things should be stable now, and we are back to normal operations.

All channels have been restored. Our vendor continues to investigate and work on stabilizing the system. There may be small outages as they continue to work.

ABR channels are down. Our vendor has been contacted. We continue to investigate.

Our vendor is conducting a health check on our IPTV ABR system currently. We are noticing some video and/or audio dropouts that they are also investigating.

Staff has recovered all but one server and are working on migrating channels back to that hardware to restore time-shift services.

Staff continue work on the servers. Some channels have been brought back online, more to come as compute capacity is restored.

Staff have mopped up the water from the leak points and continue to dry out and replace parts on servers.

Staff continue to work on restoring services. It appears that there was additional condensate water within the HVAC unit that was held by suction that has infiltrated into the Head End from the CRAC2. When the lead/lag operation to CRAC1 occurred this morning, that suction was released and allowed for additional condensate water to infiltrate into the Head End. We will update when additional information is available.
