RF STB Standard Def Issues Thursday 18th February 2021 12:15:42

Due to the channel map changes today there are lingering issues with some Standard Definition versions of local channels. Customers are advised to view the High Definition versions of those channels. Earlier issues with clear QAM channel numbers have been resolved. Note since all SD STBs have been removed from service, SD versions of local channels will be dropped in the future leaving only HD versions.

The guide issues on down converted Standard Definition channel 6 has been resolved. Customers should not be watching this channel, customers should be watching the original higher quality High Definition channel ( 406 ).

All channels are back and functioning normally. Clear QAM customers may need to run a channel scan on their TVs. One last issue is the guide data for Standard Definition channel 6 remains "To Be Announced." We are waiting for the guide data provider to begin sending the data for that channel. Customers should be viewing channel 406 in HD, the guide information for that channel is correct.

SD Channel 3 KWWL CW is now working. The only issue still outstanding is the Guide for Channel 6 SD FOX. Guide data should be available Feb 19th.

The remaining issues to be resolved are the Standard Definition version of KWWL CW on STB channel 3 is black, and the guide data for Standard Definition version of KGAN FOX on STB channel 6 only says "To Be Announced." Customers should be viewing the HD versions of these channels.
